Marietta Cardinals Youth Football and Cheer

 In 2000, the Marietta Youth Football Association Incorporated and The Marietta Blue Eagles was founded. The idea came about from a meeting with some officers from the  Marietta Police Department. They were concerned  with the youth in the community having nothing to do after school. They realized a need for organized recreation. A Board of Directors was chosen and an application for membership into the North Georgia Youth Football league was applied for and the rest is history.  After our initial startup, we were very successful. We had 9 (nine) teams in which two were undefeated. Over 300 children participated in our program. Over four years we have had 7 teams in championship games, and two championship victories. The initial start up cost was enormous but thanks to individual and corporate sponsors, the program has prospered. The lives of the children in our community were changed. Learning to work harmoniously as part of a team instills life lessons in our children that they will benefit from every day. In order for the association to continue to firmly implant good ideals in the minds of our youth, we need you to be a Marietta Youth Football Association supporter.
In 2013, The Marietta Blue Eagles moved to Osborne High School and we became The Osborne Cardinals. During this time, we had two teams make it to the Super Bowl where we had one of them come out as Champions.
2017 has allowed us to get back to the community and our Home is at Fair Oaks Recreational Park. WE ARE THE MARIETTA CARDINALS!
